Welcome to Wnder! These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Wnder mobile application ("App") provided by Wnder ("we", "our", or "us"). By using the App, you agree to these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Wnder, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Wnder is a travel companion application that:

Discovers interesting places near your location
Provides personalized audio stories about places
Offers narration in multiple languages
Adapts stories to different expertise levels

3. User Accounts and Subscriptions

3.1 Free Tier

Wnder offers a limited free experience:

10 total stories (lifetime trial)
All features available during trial
No credit card required

3.2 Paid Subscriptions

Premium features require a subscription:

Basic ($5.99/month): 20 stories per day
Pro ($15.99/month): Unlimited stories

Subscriptions are billed through Apple's App Store. You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple ID settings.

3.3 Subscription Terms

Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period
Free trial period (if offered) will be forfeited when purchasing a subscription

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use the App for any illegal purpose
Attempt to reverse engineer or modify the App
Share your subscription with others
Use automated systems to access the App
Interfere with the App's operation or security

5. Content and Intellectual Property

5.1 Our Content

All content provided by Wnder, including stories, audio narrations, and visual elements, is owned by Wnder or its licensors. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without permission.

5.2 Story Content

Stories are created for entertainment and educational purposes and may contain:

Inaccuracies or outdated information
Creative interpretations of historical events
Simplified explanations for educational purposes

We do not guarantee the accuracy of story content. Always verify important information from authoritative sources.

6. Location Services

Wnder requires location access to function. You acknowledge that:

Location accuracy depends on your device and environment
You are responsible for your safety while using the App
Do not use the App while driving or in unsafe situations
We are not responsible for any accidents or injuries while using the App

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT:

The App will be uninterrupted or error-free
Content will be accurate or complete
The App will meet your specific requirements

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WNDER SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:

Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
Loss of data or profits
Personal injury or property damage
Any damages exceeding the amount you paid for the App in the last 12 months

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Wnder from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the App or violation of these Terms.

10. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time, without notice, for any reason, including violation of these Terms. Upon termination:

Your right to use the App ceases immediately
No refunds will be provided for unused subscription time
These Terms survive termination where applicable

11. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. We will notify users of material changes through the App or email.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.

13. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these Terms or the App shall be resolved through:

First, informal negotiation
If unresolved, binding arbitration in San Francisco, California
You waive the right to participate in class actions

14. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

16. Apple-Specific Terms

As an App distributed through Apple's App Store:

Apple is not responsible for the App or its content
Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support
In case of failure to conform to warranties, you may notify Apple for a refund (if applicable)
Apple is not responsible for addressing any claims related to the App
Apple is a third-party beneficiary of these Terms
